AsciiArtify - Text and Image Fun for Visual Studio Code

AsciiArtify is a creative extension for Visual Studio Code that allows you to enhance your code comments with ASCII art. With this extension, you can easily transform selected text or images into ASCII art, adding a touch of originality to your code comments.

Features

• Add an ASCII art comment based on an image: Choose an image, and AsciiArtify will automatically convert it into an ASCII art comment in your code.

Usage

1. Select text in the code editor and use the command AsciiArtify: Add Text Comment to replace the selected text with ASCII art.
2. Right-click an image file in the file explorer and use the command AsciiArtify: Add Image Comment to convert the image into an ASCII art comment.
3. Customize ASCII art appearance and comment format using the extension's configuration settings.

Installation

1. Launch Visual Studio Code.
2. Go to the Extensions view by clicking the square icon in the sidebar on the left.
3. Search for "AsciiArtify" and install the extension.
4. Reload Visual Studio Code if prompted.

Configuration

You can customize the behavior of AsciiArtify through the following configuration option:

• AsciiArtify.applyWrap: Apply wrap to ASCII art with /**/ (default: true).
