TypeScript File Maker

A VS Code extension that helps you quickly create TypeScript files with proper boilerplate and templates.

Features

  • Quick File Creation: Create TypeScript files with a single command

  • Smart File Placement: Files are created in the same directory as your active editor or workspace root

Usage

  1. Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux)
  2. Type "Create TypeScript File" and select the command
  3. Enter a file name (without the .ts extension)
  4. Select a template from the quick pick menu
  5. The file will be created and opened automatically

Requirements

  • Visual Studio Code version 1.107.0 or higher
  • A workspace folder must be open

Working with Markdown
