More Info

This extension is part of the "SICK AppSpace SDK".

Make sure to use the VSCode extension pack to install all required extensions for App development. Consult the extension pack README to find more information about the SICK AppSpace ecosystem and the development tools. The extension pack README also contains information about compatible extension versions.

SICK AppSpace Lua Language Server

The extension brings support for editing Lua files of SensorApps in the SICK AppSpace ecosystem. This includes IntelliSense support for CROWNs, simple code generation for functions and events as well as annotations for documentation and type information.

Note

The SICK AppSpace Lua Language Server implements a proxy server that delegates all requests to the language server of Sumneko, another Lua Language Server written in Lua. The proxy server contains Sumneko's LS and code for running it. Therefore, it is recommended to disable Sumneko's LS if installed to avoid interferences between Sumneko's LS and the proxy server.

Telemetry

This extension collects and sends telemetry data according to https://www.sick.com/de/en/privacy-policy-data-processing-information-sick-appspace-tools/w/dataprotection-dataprocessing-information/.
