Intended use

SHOPSS Sentinel v0.1.0 performs lightweight, pattern-based static checks intended to help developers notice items that may deserve review.

It is not a vulnerability scanner, penetration test, professional security audit, certification, or guarantee that a workspace is secure. Findings can be false positives, and security issues can be missed (false negatives). Always review findings in context and use appropriate professional security practices for important systems.

Privacy

SHOPSS Sentinel v0.1.0 reads eligible workspace files locally through the VS Code API for static analysis. The extension itself does not make network requests and does not transmit workspace contents, findings, credentials, source code, or usage telemetry to SHOPSS or third parties.
