ShappeTrack — Source Control & Team Chat

ShappeTrack in your editor: your repo's Changes, branches, history, and Team Chat — backed by real git, native VS Code theming, no context-switch to a browser.

Features

  • Changes — commit box, Staged/Changes groups (stage/unstage per file or all), Commit & Push, branch chip.
  • Branches — switch or create a branch from the branch chip.
  • History — recent commits (sha, author, date, message).
  • Team Chat — channels, live messages over WebSocket, @mention autocomplete, members list.
  • Connect — sign in with a ShappeTrack app token; Clone a repo by slug/URL into a folder.

Getting started

  1. Open the ShappeTrack view from the activity bar.
  2. Click Connect and paste an app token (Settings → Access Tokens on the ShappeTrack web app).
  3. Open or clone a ShappeTrack repo — Changes/Branches/History/Chat populate automatically.

Commands

ShappeTrack: Connect, Commit & Push, Pull, Refresh, Switch Branch, Clone Repository, Open Web App.

Requirements

A ShappeTrack account and an app token. Repos are plain git repos served by ShappeTrack's git proxy.
