Context usage of the active Claude Code session, shown as a ring icon + percentage. Follows whichever Claude tab you focus; click to pin a specific session.
Quota usage for the 5-hour and 7-day windows, with reset times. Refreshes every 5 minutes; click the item to refresh immediately.
Hover for details: model, tokens used, cache reads, and progress bars.
Turns yellow at 60% and red at 80%.
Requirements
The official Claude Code extension (or the claude CLI on your PATH)
Quota display requires signing in with a Claude subscription (Pro / Max)
Remote / WSL: the extension runs on the workspace side so it can read ~/.claude there

How it works / privacy
Context usage is read from Claude Code's local session transcripts in ~/.claude/projects/.
Quota is obtained by running the official CLI command claude -p /usage --no-session-persistence, which does not call a model or consume tokens.
The extension itself makes no network requests and collects no data.
Both data sources are Claude Code internals rather than a public API, so a future Claude Code release may change them.
