MethodSketch for VS Code

Connect a VS Code workspace to a MethodSketch project. The extension keeps a live link to the MethodSketch server and writes design updates and generated scripts into the workspace as they arrive.

Getting started

1. Open a folder in VS Code.
2. Open the MethodSketch panel from the activity bar.
3. Click Link to Sketch, paste in your sketch ID, and press Enter.
4. Click Connect and sign in when the browser opens.

When connected, the extension writes method.design and any generated script files into your workspace and shows the connection state in the status bar.
