Welcome to Visual Studio Code extension for Tizen TV

Visual Studio Code extension for Tizen TV Plugin is an extension that provides tools for developing Tizen TV applications using Visual Studio Code.

Tizen Extension (tizen.vscode-tizen-csharp) is required to use this extension.

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites apply to the VS Code extension for Tizen:

• Supported host platforms
  VS Code extension for Tizen supports the following operating systems:
  • Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Ubuntu 18.04/20.04 (64-bit)
  • macOS 10.15 (Catalina)/ 11 (Big Sur)
• Required tools
  • Install Visual Studio Code Tizen Extension and follow setting up instruction.
  • Install DART (dart-code.dart-code) for creating Flutter Application.

Limitation

• Config XML and Tizen-Manifest XML editor will open only if XML file is clicked in explorer from close state.
• It is recommended to use Config XML and Tizen-Manifest XML editor while target XML file is closed - edit outside XML editor discard changes made in XML editor.
