Requirements

• VS Code 1.70.0 or higher

Installation

1. Open VS Code
2. Go to Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X)
3. Search for "MUBE Extension"
4. Click Install

Usage

1. Ensure Ollama server is running locally
2. Open a project in VS Code
3. Use the extension commands from the command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P or Cmd+Shift+P)
4. Access AI features through the MUBE sidebar panel

Context Management

• Click the "+" button to add project structure and file contents to conversation
• Use @ symbol in messages to reference files from your project
• Use "Clear History" to start fresh conversations

Modes

• Plan Mode: Enable architectural planning before coding
• Advanced Thinking: Activate deep reasoning for complex problems

Commands

• MUBE: Start Ollama Service - Initialize the Ollama service
• MUBE: Generate Documentation - Create documentation for current file
• MUBE: Translate Code - Translate code between programming languages
• MUBE: Show AI Assistant - Open the AI assistant panel

Settings

The extension supports the following settings:

• mube.ollamaUrl: Ollama server URL (default: http://localhost:11434)
• mube.defaultModel: Default model to use (default: mistral)
