An ergonomic, professional dark theme for VS Code, designed for deep focus and reduced visual fatigue through research-backed color hierarchy and contrast.
The Ergonomic Philosophy
Inspired by modern research on eye strain and ambient lighting, this theme is built on three core pillars:
Surface Hierarchy: By slightly differentiating the background of the Sidebar (#171717) from the Editor (#121212), we create a "spatial" depth that reduces cognitive load and helps the user stay grounded in the code.
Contrast & Accessibility: All text elements are tuned to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 contrast standards. We use off-white and charcoal grey to ensure legibility without the harshness of pure white-on-black.
Accent Calibration: We've decoupled UI actions from semantic code highlights. While generic UI buttons use a calm Slate Grey, the vibrant Orange (#D97706) is reserved exclusively for the most important code elements, such as external service calls and critical alerts.

Installation
From the Marketplace (Recommended)
Open VS Code.
Go to the Extensions view (Cmd+Shift+X or Ctrl+Shift+X).
Search for "Corporate Dark", "Sahil Jhajharia", or "Mayur Gupta".
Click Install.
Once installed, select Corporate Dark from the Color Theme list or via Cmd+Shift+P > Color Theme.
