Insert a version number directly into the text editor, avoiding potential typos and headaches.

Features

Currently the only version format supported is a concatenation of year, month, day, hour, minute and optionally, seconds. Commonly used for setting migration versions.

To run, open the Command Palette and search for "Insert Version" and select command:

  • Insert Version - Date/Time Excluding Seconds
  • Insert Version - Date/Time Including Seconds
