Octo Services

This extension is a collection of services built using the Octo framework. Currently, Octo offers the following services. (Much more coming soon!)

TD/OMS Workmanagement

TD/OMS is a scalable, cost-effective and easy to use Application Life Cycle Management solution that supports IBM i (Power) Windows, and Unix/Linux.

The Octo TD/OMS Workmanagement allows you to work with all your TD/OMS tasks from within VSCode and the web. To configure Octo to work together with your TD/OMS, please refer to these Youtube videos:

Currently, the following workmanagement features are available:

• Search, filter and browse through TD/OMS tasks
• View task details and connected objects
• Edit source code and save it back to the IBM i
• Task backlinks
• (Please note that Octo for the web offers more features that are still being ported to this VSCode extension).

TD/OMS Analytics

The TD/OMS Analytics shows, in a visual and easy-to-digest way, the state of your TD/OMS server. Signaling warnings like missing source and problematic transfers. It contains trend analysis charts to show how your DevOps is improving over time.

TD/OMS Dependency Graph

The TD/OMS Dependency Graph shows the dependencies between your objects. It helps you to understand the impact of a change and to plan your work accordingly.

TD/OMS Kanban

Kanban is a powerful tool to visualize your workflow state and perform actions using boards and cards.

Octo can render and serve any implemention of the Octo Kanban Provider OpenAPI.

We've already implemented TD/OMS Kanban for you. It makes interacting with TD/OMS such a productive and fast wonder.
