Live bidirectional sync between local .fs files and Onshape FeatureScript Studio elements — no API keys required.
How it works
A companion Chrome extension bridges an open Onshape tab over a local WebSocket. Edits in VS Code push instantly to Onshape; edits in Onshape pull back to your local file. When you reconnect after a period of divergence, you choose which version wins.
Setup
Install this extension
Load the companion Chrome extension (unpacked) from the browser-extension/ directory
Open a FeatureScript Studio element in Chrome
In VS Code: Cmd+Shift+P → Onshape FS: Start Browser Bridge
Open or create a .fs file, then Cmd+Shift+P → Onshape FS: Link File to Onshape Element
Paste the Onshape element URL when prompted
Requirements
Chrome with the companion browser extension loaded
The Onshape FeatureScript editor must be open and visible in Chrome while syncing
