🌸 Echo & Brackets

Echoes of code. Whispers of poetry. A echo awaits every save.

Echo & Brackets is a whimsical VS Code extension that transforms your coding sessions into poetic moments. Whether you’re debugging chaos or smashing out a feature, this extension surprises you with a floating echo panel and a cozy sidebar filled with verse.

Because sometimes… the compiler isn’t the only thing that needs a soft word.

🌟 Features

  • ✨ Floating echo Panel: Every time you save a file, a minimalist poetic popup appears beside your editor, gently reciting a echo.
  • 📚 Sidebar View: Enjoy randomly rotating echos in the sidebar under “Echo & Brackets”.
  • 💻 On-Save Trigger: Works seamlessly in the background. Just hit save — let the verses flow.

No bugs, just metaphors.

⚙ Requirements

  • No dependencies.
  • Works out-of-the-box with any VS Code setup.
  • Supports dark mode (and dark moods).

🧪 Extension Settings

This extension does not currently expose any settings, but future versions may allow:

  • Custom echos
  • Your own poetry library
  • Theme-based verse modes (glitchcore, gothic, cyberpunk, etc.)

🐛 Known Issues

  • Sometimes, beauty distracts from bug fixing. Proceed with emotion.
  • Only English echos for now — multilingual poetry coming soon.

💡 Extension Philosophy

“Echo & Brackets” isn't just a tool — it's an experience. It's about slowing down in a fast-paced dev world and remembering the art within the logic.

Built for dreamers, developers, poets, and those who walk all three paths.
