A tiny pixel-art office in the Explorer sidebar that shows every Claude Code session running on this machine.
- Each session gets a desk. Busy sessions type at their monitor with a speech bubble showing the current tool call. Idle sessions take a break on the couch.
- Running subagents sit at small desks next to their parent session.
- Refreshes every 2 seconds. Read-only: the extension only reads
~/.claude/sessions and session transcripts under ~/.claude/projects. Nothing leaves your machine, and it uses no tokens.
Usage
Open the Explorer and expand Claude Office, or run Claude Office: Show from the Command Palette.
Interactions
- Each desk has a plant that grows with the session's output tokens (seedling to fruit tree, 8 stages). The paper stack on the desk grows too.
- Subagents walk in, work at side desks with a prop that matches their current tool (book for reading, tablet for web, pencil for edits, whiteboard for planning), then carry their result to the parent's desk and leave.
- Click a desk to jump to that session's integrated terminal in this VS Code window. Drag a desk to move it;
Claude Office: Reset Desk Layout puts desks back.
- Assign task: type a task, pick a session, and it is typed into that session's terminal and submitted (Cmd/Ctrl+Enter also sends).
- Today: output tokens, prompts, files edited, agents run and sessions for today, with an hourly token chart.
- Activity: a live feed of what each session does (tool calls, turns starting and finishing, agents starting and finishing).
- A notification appears when a session finishes a turn that took 15 seconds or more (
claudePixelOffice.notifyOnDone).

Click the paint can in the view title bar, run Claude Office: Change Theme, or set claudePixelOffice.theme:

Limits
- Local sessions only. Cloud sessions are not shown.
- Relies on Claude Code's local file layout, which may change between Claude Code versions.

사용법
탐색기에서 Claude Office 섹션을 펼치거나, 명령 팔레트에서 Claude Office: Show를 실행하세요.
기능
- 책상의 화분이 세션의 출력 토큰 수에 따라 새싹에서 열매 나무까지 8단계로 자랍니다. 책상 위 서류 더미도 함께 쌓입니다.
- 서브에이전트는 사무실에 걸어 들어와 옆 책상에서 일합니다. 지금 쓰는 도구에 맞는 소품을 듭니다(읽기는 책, 웹은 태블릿, 수정은 연필, 계획은 화이트보드). 일이 끝나면 결과를 상위 세션 책상에 전달하고 나갑니다.
- 책상을 클릭하면 이 VS Code 창에 있는 해당 세션의 터미널로 이동합니다. 책상을 끌어서 위치를 옮길 수 있고,
Claude Office: Reset Desk Layout으로 처음 배치로 되돌립니다.
- 업무 지시(Assign task): 할 일을 쓰고 세션을 고르면 그 세션의 터미널에 입력되고 바로 전송됩니다. Cmd/Ctrl+Enter로도 보낼 수 있습니다.
- 오늘 통계(Today): 오늘의 출력 토큰, 프롬프트 수, 수정한 파일 수, 실행한 에이전트 수, 세션 수와 시간대별 토큰 그래프를 보여줍니다.
- 활동 기록(Activity): 세션별 도구 실행, 작업 시작과 완료, 에이전트 시작과 완료를 시간순으로 보여줍니다.
- 15초 이상 걸린 작업이 끝나면 알림이 뜹니다.
claudePixelOffice.notifyOnDone 설정으로 끌 수 있습니다.

제한 사항
- 이 컴퓨터의 로컬 세션만 보입니다. 클라우드 세션은 보이지 않습니다.
- Claude Code의 로컬 파일 구조를 읽기 때문에, Claude Code 버전이 바뀌면 동작하지 않을 수 있습니다.
