⚡ Performance
This extension is built with performance in mind:
Asynchronous Reading: File reading and metadata retrieval are completely non-blocking.
Metadata Efficiency: Uses vscode.workspace.fs.stat for lightning-fast file size checks across local and remote environments.
Memory Safety: Does not load file contents into memory for size checks, preventing lag on large files.
Result Caching: Line counts are saved in memory and only updated on save/rename/delete.
Smart Skip: It ignores .git, node_modules, and large binaries by default.
