This is a VSCode extension that makes working with play.web-extensions.dev easier.

How to use

From the command palette, all commands begin with WebExtensions

Features

fetch

If you have a URL from play.web-extensions.dev, you can fetch it to automatically create a temporary copy of the project locally. If the URL is on your clipboard, then the project window will open automatically when called.

copyURL

If your project window is a web extension, then this command will generate a URL for the contents of the project that can open on play.web-extensions.dev. The value will be copied to your clipboard

openURL

If your project window is a web extension, then this command will generate a URL for the contents of the project that can open on play.web-extensions.dev. A browser window will open to show the project
