Pathvela brings Lily, an AI coding assistant, right into your editor. Ask in plain language and Lily reads, searches, edits, and runs code across your workspace — then verifies its own changes.

Getting started

1. Install the extension.
2. Open the Pathvela panel from the Activity Bar.
3. Unlock with your Pathvela API key (get one at pathvela.poolot.com). Your key is stored securely in VS Code's encrypted secret storage.
4. Start chatting — describe the change you want, or ask a question about your code.

Credits & top-up

Pathvela runs on a simple credit model — no subscription. Buy credits once and use them across chat and coding. When you're low, click "＋ Top up credits" in the account panel to pay by card or bank transfer (via Paystack); your balance updates automatically.

• Standard tier is fast and cheap for everyday work.
• Pro tier uses a stronger model for hard, multi-step tasks.

Models

Pathvela picks the right model for the task and can automatically escalate a stuck run to a stronger model to finish the job — so you get quality when it matters and low cost the rest of the time.

Privacy

Your API key is stored in VS Code's encrypted SecretStorage. Code and requests are sent to the Pathvela service to power the assistant; see poolot.com for details.
