Drone Status

A VS Code extension that shows your Drone CI build status in the status bar.

Click the status bar item — or run Drone Status: Show build actions from the Command Palette — to retry the latest build, open it in the browser, or browse recent builds.

The extension activates when the workspace contains a Drone config: .drone.yml, .drone.yaml, .drone.jsonnet, .drone.star, .drone.starlark, or .drone.script.

If your repository uses a custom configuration path in its Drone settings, the extension won't activate on its own — run the command from the Command Palette instead.

Configuration

Setting	Description
`droneStatus.server`	Drone server URL. Falls back to `$DRONE_SERVER`.
`droneStatus.token`	Drone API token. Falls back to `$DRONE_TOKEN`.
`droneStatus.repo`	Optional. Defaults to the workspace folder name.
`droneStatus.owner`	Optional. Defaults to the username from the API.

Development

Plain JavaScript with JSDoc types and no npm dependencies — there is no node_modules and no lockfile. Type checking comes from the TypeScript bundled with VS Code, against the declarations committed in types/.

make help

make audit runs the dependency guard, the type check, and the tests; it fails if a dependency is ever introduced. make test runs the suite in a container with no network.
