Vibi Pet

Vibi, the little cloud from Vibecheck, moves into your editor. Vibi types along with you, worries about red errors, cheers for green tests, throws confetti when you commit and takes a nap when you step away.

Where Vibi lives

At home below the Explorer. Vibi strolls around, waves, has ideas and falls asleep. Click to pet Vibi, grab and throw Vibi across the room. Too hard and Vibi gets dizzy.
Or on a stage in the panel next to the terminal, if you prefer. Run Vibi Pet: Move Vibi's Home or set vibiPet.home.
In the status bar. A tiny Vibi shows the current mood. Hover to read what Vibi just said, click to visit.
Right in your code (off by default). Vibi sits at the end of the line you are working on and jumps to the first error when something breaks. Turn it on with Vibi Pet: Toggle Vibi in the Code.

Test runs are recognised from the terminal (npm, pnpm, yarn, vitest, jest, pytest, Gradle, Maven, Flutter, Go, Cargo, .NET and more) and from test tasks.

Extras

Break coach. After 50 minutes of typing Vibi asks you to stretch. Vibi Pet: Take a Break with Vibi starts a stretch right away.
Rubber duck. Select some code, right-click and pick Explain to Vibi…. Vibi listens and asks questions while you explain the code out loud.
Your Vibecheck look. Vibi Pet: Connect Vibecheck Account signs you in with Google. Vibi then wears the outfit from your wardrobe in the app and takes the color of your identity.

Privacy

Vibi Pet sends no telemetry and never sends your code anywhere. Everything happens on your machine. Only when you connect a Vibecheck account does it talk to the Vibecheck server, and then only to read your identity color and outfit. The sign-in token is kept in your system's secure storage. Vibi Pet never creates a Vibecheck account.

Works in

VS Code 1.93 or newer, and editors that use Open VSX such as Cursor, Windsurf and VSCodium. Vibi speaks English and German and follows your editor's language.
