If maui-dev is not on PATH (or ~/.dotnet/tools), the extension offers to run dotnet tool install -g Plugin.Maui.MauiDev.Cli.

Settings: mauiDev.toolPath, mauiDev.warnAsError, mauiDev.autoDoctorOnOpen (off by default).
