nRF Terminal

Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF Terminal is part of the nRF Connect Extension Pack for VS Code and integrates with the nRF Connect extension. nRF Connect and nRF Terminal provide UI-based access points to connect to your devices over serial ports or RTT.

Features

nRF Terminal adds serial connection options to VS Code in the Terminal Panel View. In the Panel Toolbar, you can expand the connection profile drop-down menu to access two custom options that provide UI-based access points to your device: nRF RTT Terminal and nRF Serial Terminal.

nRF Terminal also features a Status Bar item, which displays the current connection status and allows for disconnecting and reconnecting your device to the terminal.
