A VS Code extension that lets programmers play a relaxing tree-growing game while waiting for AI assistants (like GitHub Copilot) to complete tasks.

🎮 Gameplay

Plant - Plant a seed and earn points
Water - Water every 3min, +1 point, +30s growth boost
Fertilize - Fertilize every 5min, +2 points, +60s growth boost
Quiz - Answer trivia questions to earn points
Harvest - Harvest fruits when mature, auto-exchange for points

🚀 Usage

After installation, a 🌲 tree icon appears in the activity bar
Click the icon to open the Waiting Tree panel
Start your tree-growing journey!

⏸️ Auto-Pause Reminder

⚠️ Important: This game is designed to help you pass time while waiting for AI assistants to complete their work. However, we don't want you to get too addicted during work hours! That's why we built the auto-pause feature.

The game auto-pauses every 3 minutes to remind you to check AI results:

⏸️ Auto Pause - Game displays pause overlay, all timers stop
🔔 Notification - Popup reminds you to check AI results
🎮 Continue - Click "Continue" to resume, pauses again in 3 min

This way you can enjoy the game without missing important AI work results!

🌍 Language Support

The extension automatically detects your VS Code language setting:

Chinese locale → Chinese interface
Other locales → English interface

⌨️ Commands

Press `Cmd+Shift+P` (Mac) or `Ctrl+Shift+P` (Windows/Linux) to open command palette:

`Waiting Tree: Open Game` - Open game panel
`Waiting Tree: Reset Game` - Reset all game progress
