EPUB Fisher

EPUB Fisher is a minimal VS Code extension for quietly reading EPUB novels in a webview that looks close to VS Code's built-in markdown preview.

It intentionally has only one reading-side control: a small collapsible chapter table of contents in the top-right corner.

Use

1. Run npm install.
2. Open this folder in VS Code.
3. Press F5 to start an Extension Development Host.
4. Open an .epub file, or run EPUB Fisher: Open EPUB.

Scope

• Renders EPUB spine chapters as one continuous reading document.
• Uses VS Code theme colors and fonts.
• Supports a collapsible table of contents and chapter jumps.
• Does not include bookmarks, progress sync, search, settings, library management, or other reader features.
