Codex Switch

Codex Switch helps you manage Codex accounts from inside VS Code.

It connects to Codex Switch Cloud so you can sign in, sync your cloud accounts, switch between them, and manage the account list without leaving the editor.

What You Can Do

• Sign in to your Codex Switch Cloud account
• Add a new Codex account from your current local session
• Sync cloud accounts into VS Code
• Switch between available accounts from the sidebar
• Rename or delete accounts when your permissions allow it

Before You Start

1. Create or sign in to your Codex Switch Cloud account.
2. Open VS Code.
3. Install the Codex Switch extension.
4. Open the Codex Switch view from the Activity Bar.

How To Use

1. Sign in

Open the Codex Switch sidebar and choose Sign In.

2. Add or sync accounts

After signing in, you can:

• Use Add Account to save your current Codex session to the cloud
• Use Sync Accounts to load your cloud accounts into VS Code

3. Switch accounts

Click any synced account in the Codex Switch sidebar to make it the active account.

4. Manage accounts

Use the sidebar actions to refresh, rename, or delete accounts when those options are available to your user.

Settings

The extension supports this setting:

• codexSwitch.cloudBaseUrl: The base URL for the Codex Switch Cloud service
