Your navigator in VS Code. Futaba Sakura hangs out beside your code, comments on errors, and celebrates your fixes — with Persona-style dialogue and original expressions.

• Errors, fixes & builds. Reactions to Problems diagnostics and VS Code Tasks, with shortcuts to the error and native Quick Fix actions.
• A proper introduction. A visual novel conversation, your choice of nickname, and a familiar face in the bottom-right corner.
• Optional AI dialogue. Fresh quips through models exposed by VS Code's Language Model API, including Copilot. Local dialogue works without AI.
• Your setup. Adjust portrait size, position, animation and warnings in native VS Code Settings. Replay the introduction or reset all Futaba settings whenever you like.

Run Futaba: Open Futaba Beside Code to open her scene, or Futaba: Open Settings to customize it. All dialogue is in English.

AI is off by default. Futaba: Select AI Model lists available models; Futaba: Connect AI authorizes access. Other AI extensions work only if they expose models through VS Code's API. Provider access and quotas apply.

Runtime portraits download from The Spriters Resource on first launch (about 32 MB), then stay cached for offline use. Build error details require a task problem matcher; commands typed directly into a terminal aren't monitored. Futaba comments on your code and opens available fixes; she doesn't edit it herself.
