Keep your Merj project status current automatically — straight from your coding activity, without leaving the editor.
What it does
My Tasks — your assigned tasks in the sidebar, blocked items first; open on the web, or flag I'm Blocked in one click (your PM is notified instantly).
Sync today's coding activity — your commits become activity, auto-matched to task keys (e.g. MERJ-001), and tasks advance themselves on the board (a "fix/closes/resolves" commit moves the task to review).
Generate today's report — a draft written for you from your activity, which you review and submit. No setup, no API keys — Merj drafts it server-side.
Team chat — message teammates and project channels, see who's online, and pop the chat into its own window beside your editor.
My assigned bugs — triage and update bugs from the editor.
Switch workspace — hop between your organizations and personal workspace.
In-editor notifications for assignments, blocks, mentions, and messages.
Getting started
Install the extension — a Get started with Merj walkthrough opens automatically.
Run Merj: Sign In and paste a personal access token (create one on the Merj website → Settings → Access tokens).
Open a repo, run Merj: Link This Repo to a Project, then Merj: Sync Today's Coding Activity.
That's it. Everything else — reports, task moves, notifications — happens as you work.
Privacy
Raw source code never leaves your machine — only compact, human-readable activity summaries (commit messages and counts) are sent to your Merj workspace.
