Installation Guide

1. Search for Extension

Open Cursor IDE, navigate to the Extensions tab, and search for OpenMemory.

2. Install the Extension

Click Install to add the OpenMemory extension to your Cursor IDE.


3. Sign in to OpenMemory

  • Go to app.openmemory.dev
  • Sign in with your Mem0 account (Mem0 account will get created in case not already)

4. Link Memories

  • Open the Connect tab in the sidebar
  • Click “Link with OpenMemory MCP” under the Cursor Code Tab
  • You’ll be redirected back to Cursor

5. Configure MCP Server

Accept the configuration options presented in Cursor to set up the MCP server.


6. Start Coding 🎉

Open any project in Cursor and enjoy persistent memory integration!
