Matcha Coding Focus is a calm VS Code extension for matcha lovers who want a softer workspace without losing clarity.
It includes:
Matcha Coding, a dark theme with deep black surfaces and matcha-green accents
Matcha Coding Light, a lighter variant with a clean editor surface and the same matcha identity
Matcha Focus, a quiet focus view with breathing-inspired motion
Matcha Pets, a small animated Explorer panel built around custom matcha artwork
- gentle status bar cues such as
inhale, exhale, and soft reminders

Open a dedicated focus panel from the Command Palette with:

An Explorer webview panel that adds a playful matcha-themed visual space inside VS Code.

Setting
matchaCoding.autoApplyTheme
Automatically applies the matching Matcha Coding theme when the extension activates.
How To Use
- Open the Command Palette with
Ctrl+Shift+P
- Run
Preferences: Color Theme
- Choose
Matcha Coding or Matcha Coding Light
To open the focus experience:
- Open the Command Palette
- Run
Matcha Coding: Open Focus
Development
npm install
npm run compile
Then press F5 in VS Code to open an Extension Development Host.
