CHROMAHIN

CHROMAHIN is the flagship VS Code theme and icon system developed by Mahin Ltd. It delivers cohesive multi-color dark experiences, precise syntax differentiation, and an original iconography suite to keep professional workspaces elegant and readable across long coding sessions.

Theme Variants

CHROMAHIN Dark – Balanced contrast with cyan-to-blue accenting for everyday focus.
CHROMAHIN AMOLED – Pure black groundwork optimized for OLED and high-contrast setups.
CHROMAHIN Soft – Muted tonal steps that calm glare while preserving code clarity.
CHROMAHIN Multi-color – Expressive yet restrained spectrum for interactive tooling and semantic cues.

All variants share a consistent palette progression (cyan → teal → blue → soft green), ensuring UI familiarity while allowing each mood to shine.

Icon System

The bundled CHROMAHIN Icons pack provides handcrafted SVG glyphs for the launch set of 30 file types and 9 folder archetypes, including:

Web stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular, Svelte.
Backend & scripting: Python, Java, Go, Rust, C#, PHP, Ruby, Node.
Configuration & tooling: JSON, YAML, ENV, Docker, Git, Markdown, SQL, XML, package and lock manifests.
Folder taxonomy: src, config, docs, assets, tests, components, public, scripts, plus open/closed defaults.

Each icon shares a 24×24 grid, unified stroke weight, and multi-tone accenting calibrated for dark backgrounds.

Installation

Open VS Code and navigate to the Extensions view.
Install from VSIX or search for CHROMAHIN (publisher mahin-ltd) when publicly listed.
Set a theme via Preferences: Color Theme → CHROMAHIN ….
Apply icons with Preferences: File Icon Theme → CHROMAHIN Icons.
