Machina

Follow instructions on the Machina website to sign in. Resource icons are generated from the platform React components by npm run generate:resources in extensions/vscode. The generator renders the platform SVGs and copies its pure agent/module selection rules into src/generated; change the platform sources and regenerate instead of editing those assets or generated TypeScript. Theme colors are substituted during export; module badge geometry lives in the shared SVG component.

Edit assignment roots are grouped by exact scenario/problem references from the existing API. Nested resources retain assignment permissions and recommendations; a target with a different version remains a separate root. Recommended constraints call checkConstraint after the same save/sync barrier as diagnostics and display the exact checked version with the result. They do not submit the assignment or create a run resource.

Scenario Checks in Assignments reuse Drive Validation’s Preflight, Clinic, and result views. Custom diagnostics and constraints appear under Recommended checks. Active editable targets save and sync before running; reference resources use their displayed exact version. The Checks stethoscope uses the same Remix Icon artwork through a contributed font icon so VS Code supplies its theme color.
