A powerful VS Code extension for viewing and editing CSV, TSV, and Excel files as interactive tables.

Features

Usage

Opening Files

  • Right-click a CSV/TSV/Excel file → "Open With..." → "Powered CSV Viewer"
  • Or use Command Palette: "Preview with Powered CSV Viewer"

Editing

  • Edit cell: Double-click on any cell
  • Add row: Click "+ Row" button or the "+ Add Row" at the bottom
  • Add column: Click "+ Column" button or the "+" header
  • Delete: Right-click for context menu options

Filtering

  • Click the filter icon (⧩) in any column header
  • Select/deselect values to filter
  • Use "Select All" / "Deselect All" for quick selection

Sorting

  • Click the sort icon (⇅) in any column header
  • Click again to toggle: ascending → descending → none

Search

  • Use the search box or press Ctrl+F
  • Press Enter or use ▲▼ buttons to navigate between matches
  • Press Shift+Enter to go to previous match
