Copy Lines

Simple Visual Studio Code extension to aid in referencing snippets of code in reports or other documents. Adds an editor context menu command that copies the file name, selected line range, and selected lines along with line numbers to the clipboard. The command supports several text markup formatting options.

Usage

Select text on one or more lines in a text editor, then select Copy file name and numbered lines from the context menu, or run the command directly.

Extension Settings

The copylines.formatting setting selects the markup formatting. Supports "none", "markdown", and "textile".
