Web AI Dock

A VS Code extension that helps you manage web-based AI assistants in the sidebar and copy code location information.

Features

Copy Code Location

• Select code in editor
• Right-click and choose "Copy Code Location"
• Paste the formatted code reference anywhere you need

Sidebar Web View

• Access web-based AI tools directly in VS Code sidebar
• Bookmark your favorite AI websites
• Quick navigation between different AI services

Installation

1. Search for "Web AI Dock" in VS Code Extensions
2. Click Install
3. Restart VS Code

Usage

Copy Code Location

1. Select code in the editor
2. Right-click → "Copy Code Location"
3. The code location and content will be copied to clipboard

Use Sidebar

1. Click the Web AI Dock icon in the activity bar
2. Enter a URL to load
3. Start using the web interface

Configuration

Open VS Code Settings and search for freeAI:

• freeAI.defaultHomepage - Set default homepage URL
• freeAI.autoExternalOnBlock - Auto open in external browser when blocked
• freeAI.showWelcome - Show welcome page
• freeAI.logLevel - Log level (debug/info/warn/error)
