SalsaFX IDE
SalsaFX IDE brings the SalsaFX component language directly into your editor. While you write HTML or templates, it offers custom elements, the attributes they accept, and the values those attributes allow — making an HMI gauge, fader, push-button, pill, or tab as discoverable as a native tag.

Type <fx- and the editor lists HMI, SCADA, and UI components. Open an attribute such as size, variant, or shape, and it suggests the allowed values — small, medium, large — instead of sending you back to the docs.
Features
- Component Autocomplete (
<fx-*): Instantly browse all available SalsaFX custom elements as you type.
- Attribute IntelliSense: Discover supported attributes, slots, and properties without leaving your code.
- Allowed Value Suggestions: Automatically prompts valid values for attributes such as
variant, size, shape, orientation, and more.
- Zero Configuration & Lightweight: Powered by VS Code's standard HTML Custom Data specification — zero background processes, instant startup, and no extra configuration needed.
Supported Environments
SalsaFX custom elements are standard Web Components. IntelliSense works seamlessly across:
- HTML (
.html)
- Astro (
.astro)
- Svelte (
.svelte)
- Vue (
.vue)
- Any template syntax inheriting HTML language contributions.
Compatible with VS Code, Cursor, VSCodium, and Windsurf.
