Lyrielle

Now playing, playback controls and synced lyrics for VS Code. Lyrielle shows whatever is playing on your system (Spotify, YouTube in the browser, any media player) without leaving the editor.

Features

• Now playing panel in the activity bar: artwork, progress, play / previous / next, and four layouts (full, no lyrics, focus, vinyl). The toolbar button cycles through them.
• Status bar controls: track title, previous / next, and an optional audio spectrum.
• Synced lyrics from LRCLIB, highlighted line by line. Adjust timing with Shift Lyrics Earlier / Later.
• Translation under each lyric line (see below).
• Audio spectrum in the panel and status bar, with several styles and color presets. (Windows)
• Screen overlay: spectrum bars along the screen edges, click-through. (Windows)
• Dynamic island: a now-playing pill at the top of the screen that opens into a mini player on hover. (Windows)
• Floating lyrics window: draggable, always on top, never takes focus. (Windows)

Getting started

1. Install the extension and start playing something.
2. Open the Lyrielle icon in the activity bar.
3. Use Lyrielle: Select Audio Source if several players are running.
4. Open Lyrielle: Open Settings to customize everything.

Default shortcuts (press Ctrl+Alt+M, release, then the key): Space play/pause, → next, ← previous.

Lyrics translation

Click the globe button in the panel (or run Lyrielle: Toggle Lyrics Translation) to show a translation in smaller text under each lyric line. Off by default.

• Free, no API key: the lyrics are sent to Google Translate's public endpoint. It is not an official API, so it may occasionally be unavailable; the original lyrics always stay on screen.
• Each song is translated once and cached on disk.
• lyrielle.translation.targetLanguage is the language to translate into (es by default; also Select Translation Language). Songs already in that language are never translated.
• lyrielle.translation.sourceLanguages limits which songs get translated, e.g. ["en"] or ["en", "ja", "ko"]. Empty means every language.

Privacy

• Lyrics are looked up on LRCLIB using the track title, artist, album and duration. Set lyrielle.lyrics.enabled to false to disable all network calls.
• Translation, when enabled, sends lyric text to Google Translate.
• No telemetry. Nothing is stored in your workspace; caches live in the extension's global storage.

• Letras sincronizadas desde LRCLIB, resaltadas línea por línea. Ajusta el tiempo con Shift Lyrics Earlier / Later.

Compatibilidad

Primeros pasos

1. Instala la extensión y reproduce algo.
2. Abre el icono de Lyrielle en la barra de actividad.
3. Usa Lyrielle: Select Audio Source si hay varios reproductores abiertos.
4. Abre Lyrielle: Open Settings para personalizar todo.

Atajos por defecto (pulsa Ctrl+Alt+M, suelta, y luego la tecla): Espacio play/pausa, → siguiente, ← anterior.

Traducción de letras

Haz clic en el botón del globo en el panel (o ejecuta Lyrielle: Toggle Lyrics Translation) para ver la traducción en letra más pequeña bajo cada línea. Viene desactivada.

• Gratis, sin API key: la letra se envía al endpoint público de Google Translate. No es una API oficial, así que a veces puede no responder; la letra original siempre se sigue mostrando.
• Cada canción se traduce una sola vez y queda en caché en disco.
• lyrielle.translation.targetLanguage es el idioma al que se traduce (es por defecto; también Select Translation Language). Las canciones que ya están en ese idioma nunca se traducen.
• lyrielle.translation.sourceLanguages limita qué canciones se traducen, por ejemplo ["en"] o ["en", "ja", "ko"]. Vacío traduce todos los idiomas.

Privacidad

• Las letras se buscan en LRCLIB con título, artista, álbum y duración de la pista. Pon lyrielle.lyrics.enabled en false para desactivar toda llamada de red.
• La traducción, si la activas, envía el texto de la letra a Google Translate.
• Sin telemetría. Nada se guarda en tu workspace; las cachés viven en el almacenamiento global de la extensión.
