AMOLED-Jonny VS Code Theme

A dark, AMOLED-optimized VS Code theme focused on readability — especially tuned for colourblind-friendly usage and minimal eye strain.

🚀 Installation

You have two options:

1. Install via VSIX (local or shared)

   code --install-extension amoled-jonny-vscode-theme-<version>.vsix
   

Or, from VS Code or Cursor: “Install from VSIX…” and select the file.

2. Install from Marketplace

Search for “AMOLED Jonny Dark” in the VS Code Marketplace and install as usual.

After installation, open the theme picker (Ctrl+K Ctrl+T) and select "AMOLED Jonny Dark".

🛠 Configuration & Usage • Recommended font: a monospaced font with clear shapes (e.g. JetBrains Mono, Fira Code, Cascadia Code) • Recommended line-height: 1.45–1.55 for best readability • Works well in full darkness, dim rooms, and low-light coding environments

This theme works for a variety of languages — Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JSON, etc.

If you enable settings for high-contrast mode or custom token overrides – be mindful: these may override the carefully tuned readability settings.
