Cute Cupcake

A sweet pastel light theme for Visual Studio Code, with a buttercream editor, pink frosting title bar, and periwinkle sidebar.

Cute Cupcake pairs warm cream surfaces with pink, purple, and blue accents. Colorful syntax keeps code distinct from the surrounding pastel interface, while subtle borders give the workbench a soft appearance.

Install

In the Extensions view, search for Cute Cupcake by jenna-studio and install it when available on the Marketplace. Then run Preferences: Color Theme from the Command Palette and choose Cute Cupcake.

For a downloaded VSIX, run Extensions: Install from VSIX..., select cute-cupcake.vsix, then choose the theme in Preferences: Color Theme.

On macOS, set "window.titleBarStyle": "custom" if you want the title bar to use the theme's pink color. Native OS title bars do not use all workbench theme colors.

What is included

A native light color theme for the editor and workbench.
Syntax highlighting and terminal colors defined by the theme.
A packaged PNG extension icon.

No CSS loader, additional dependency, or runtime code is required. User color customizations and language extensions can affect the final appearance. Extension-owned webviews may use their own styling.
