Features

• Markdown Shortcuts: This extension offers a set of keyboard shortcuts to streamline your Markdown editing process. Whether you're creating documentation, writing blog posts, or just taking notes, these shortcuts will help you work more efficiently.

Shortcuts and Commands are available in markdown language only.

Installation

1. Open Visual Studio Code.
2. Go to the Extensions view by clicking on the square icon in the sidebar or pressing Ctrl+Shift+X.
3. Search for "ultimate-md".
4. Click the "Install" button for the Ultimate Markdown extension.
5. Once installed, click "Reload" to activate the extension.

Usage

Markdown Shortcuts

The following keyboard shortcuts are available for Markdown files:

• Alt+M 1-6: Toggle Headings 1 through 6.
• Alt+M B: Toggle Bold text (using **).
• Alt+M I: Toggle Italic text (using _).
• Alt+M S: Toggle Strike though text (using ~~).
• Alt+M C: Toggle Code text (using `).
• Alt+M SHIFT + C: Toggle Code Block text (using ```).
• Alt+M O: Toggle Ordered List (using -).
• Alt+M U: Toggle Ordered List (using 1.).
• Alt+M X: Toggle Checkbox (using - [ ]).
• Alt+M SHIFT + I: Insert Image syntax.
• Alt+M L: Insert Link syntax.
• Alt+M L: Insert Link syntax.
• Alt+M M: Change current document language to markdown.

Configuration

As of the current version, the Ultimate Markdown extension does not have any configuration options. However, we are actively working on adding configuration options in future updates. This will allow you to customize the extension to better suit your Markdown editing needs.
