iwantads
One small, labelled ad while your AI works. You get 70% of what it pays.
While your AI works (Claude Code, or in Cursor, Cursor's own agent), iwantads shows one line, like this example:

When the AI finishes, or stops to ask you something, it's gone. Each view that counts earns you 70% of what the advertiser paid for it. You withdraw
to UPI once you have ₹100 ready.
Your chats never leave your computer
- The app downloads one public list of ads, the same for everyone, and picks an ad on your computer.
- It looks at your project's file names and dependency names (like
package.json) to pick a fitting ad. Those never
leave your computer either.
- The server only ever learns: a random install ID, your app and version, which ad showed and for how long, which ad
you clicked, and your UPI ID when you withdraw. Never your prompts, chats, code, or file or project names.
- The hooks that notice your AI starting and stopping never even read their input, which holds your prompt.
- Check it yourself: every request the app makes, body included, is written to
~/.iwantads/receipt.log.

Set up
Claude Code in a terminal:
npx iwantads
It shows you what's sent and never sent, and asks for your yes. Then it adds a status line and a few hooks to Claude
Code (~/.claude/settings.json). If you already have a status line, it stays: the ad shows under it. Run it again
any time to update.
VS Code or Cursor: install this extension, then run iwantads: Set up. While Claude Code works (in its panel or
a terminal), the ad shows in the status bar. In Cursor it also shows while Cursor's own agent works, in chat or
Cmd+K (the same hooks go in ~/.cursor/hooks.json). Click the ad to open it.
Both share one install per computer.

The rules
- A view counts after 2 seconds on screen, one every 20 seconds at most, up to 200 a day. It only counts once a
screen has really shown the ad, and only while your AI works.
- You must be 18 or older, and paid only to a UPI ID in your own name. One install per device.
- Every ad is checked by a person before it runs, and always carries the word "Sponsored".
