Indicate for Visual Studio Code

This extension registers an MCP server in VS Code, giving GitHub Copilot and other AI tools direct access to Indicate's capabilities.

Requirements
Getting Started
- Install Indicate from the VS Code Marketplace.
- When prompted, enter your Indicate API key.
- Open the Chat view (Ctrl+Alt+I) — Indicate tools are now available.
You can also set or update your key any time:
- Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P)
- Run Indicate: Set API Key
Verify It Works
- Open the Chat view.
- Select the Configure Tools button.
- You should see tools from Indicate listed.

Privacy
- Your API key is stored locally in VS Code's encrypted SecretStorage.
- The extension connects only to
industry.indicate-data.io — no other network calls.
- No telemetry is collected by this extension.
