Opens Imagera Code, the terminal coding agent, in a split terminal beside your editor and hands it the file (and lines) you are looking at. Works in VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf and VSCodium.
Before you start
Install the app and sign in once (an Imagera plan is required):
npm i -g imagera-code
imagera-code
If the extension cannot find imagera-code, it offers to install it, or you can point the Imagera Code: Path setting at the command.
Use it
Open:Cmd+Esc (Mac) or Ctrl+Esc (Windows, Linux), or the Imagera button at the top right of an editor. If Imagera Code is already open, this focuses it.
New session:Cmd+Shift+Esc (Mac), the editor button, or Open Imagera Code in a new tab in the Command Palette.
Your file goes with it: a new session starts with the current file, for example In @src/app.ts#L37-42 when lines are selected.
Add a file later:Cmd+Option+K (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+K (Windows, Linux) inserts @path#L37-42 into the open session.
