ILTM Agent

ILTM Agent is a VS Code sidebar chat. Customers install it from the Marketplace, enter an Activation Code, and chat through their assigned ILTM environment.

The extension never asks for provider credentials. It never stores a provider cookie, worker auth, or MCP bearer.

Install

1. In VS Code open Extensions.
2. Search for ILTM Agent.
3. Install.
4. Click the ILTM Agent icon in the Activity Bar.
5. Enter the Activation Code from your ILTM operator.

Do not install a VSIX by hand for the normal production flow. VS Code updates the extension from the Marketplace.

Marketplace installs use customer mode automatically. You do not clone a repository, install Python, or configure an operator Bridge.

Activate

Ask your ILTM operator for an Activation Code. Paste it in the sidebar form or run ILTM Agent: Activate.

The extension keeps only the opaque customer session and refresh credential in VS Code SecretStorage (iltm.customerSession, iltm.customerRefresh). Those values survive Marketplace updates. Existing local sessions are migrated automatically and do not require a new activation. You are not asked to activate again unless the session expires and refresh cannot recover.

Your PC

After activation, PC tools are intended to run on your computer. The Marketplace package does not include or start an admin PC runtime, and it does not expose another machine's files.

Operator / local development

Source checkouts can still use connectionMode: operator with the local Bridge. That path is only available when the repository checkout is present. Marketplace customers stay in customer mode.

Deactivate

There is no separate deactivate command. If the session expires or refresh fails, ILTM Agent returns to the activation form. Clearing VS Code SecretStorage for this extension also removes the stored session.
