Rulebook Dashboard — VSCode Extension
Visual dashboard for Rulebook inside VSCode. Monitor tasks, agents, Ralph autonomous loop, persistent memory, and the background indexer — all from a sidebar panel.

Status Bar
- Left:
📖 Rulebook button → opens dashboard
- Right: Indexer status indicator + Ralph running state
Activity Bar
Custom Rulebook icon in the Activity Bar opens the dashboard panel.
Getting Started
Development
cd vscode-extension
npm install
npm run compile
Press F5 to launch the Extension Development Host.
Packaging
npx vsce package
This creates a .vsix file you can install locally:
code --install-extension rulebook-dashboard-0.1.0.vsix
Requirements
- VSCode 1.85+
- A project with
.rulebook/ directory (auto-activates the extension)
