Installation
Open VS Code
Go to Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X)
Search for "WordHub"
Click Install
Usage
Tracking Words
WordHub automatically tracks your word count as you write in VS Code. The current day's word count is displayed in the status bar.
Viewing Statistics
Click on the word count in the status bar or:
Open Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P)
Type "WordHub: Show Statistics"
Press Enter
Managing Data
Export Data: Save your writing history to a JSON file
Import Data: Restore your writing history from a previously exported file
Settings
WordHub integrates seamlessly with VS Code and requires no additional configuration. Your writing data is automatically saved and persists between sessions.
Data Privacy
All data is stored locally on your machine
No data is sent to external servers
Export your data anytime for backup
