AI Usage ReportSee exactly what your GitHub Copilot requests cost, inside VS Code — and turn any sprint or date range into a report you can save as HTML, drop into an Outlook message, or paste anywhere with formatting intact. No sign-in. No network access. Copilot records the exact credit cost of every request in its session files on your machine, and this extension reads them. Nothing is estimated. What it does
Credits used vs. remaining"Credits used" is exact — it comes from Copilot's own per-request figure. "Remaining" is not, and the extension says so. The session files record what a request cost, not how much allowance is left; that only exists in GitHub's billing system. So remaining is your configured plan allowance minus the credits recorded this month. Set Credits reset at 00:00:00 UTC on the 1st and do not carry over, which is why every date here is UTC.
