Android Studio Logcat-style log filtering for VS Code. Run Log Filter: Open (Ctrl+Shift+L) to filter with AS-compatible query syntax in a Beside Webview tab.

Editing the log while Filter is open debounces re-parse; stale Worker results are discarded.
Usage
- Click the filter icon in the editor title bar, or press
Ctrl+Shift+L
- Type a filter query in the filter panel
- Double-click a row to jump to the corresponding line in the source editor
Example
Filter a large offline logcat dump with field keys, text OR, and a time lower bound:
tag:AlarmManager pid:2917 tencent | device after:10:50:00
The query keeps tag: / pid: / after: as global AND conditions, uses | only for text OR (tencent or device), and shows matching lines with keyword highlights.
