Getting Started

  1. Install this extension pack — all included extensions are installed automatically
  2. Open any workspace in VS Code
  3. Click the Dataverse Tools icon in the Activity Bar
  4. Click Add Environment — the wizard finds all your orgs automatically
  5. Sign in and start working

The Environments extension is the foundation — it provides authentication and the shared explorer sidebar that all other extensions contribute to.


Individual extensions can also be installed and managed separately if you only need specific tools. Each extension page has its own full feature walkthrough and documentation.
