Note: SchemaViz is now in Open Beta! Anyone can start using the extension immediately after registration.
Features
SchemaViz is a powerful schema visualization tool designed to enhance your XML schema exploration experience. It offers:
Intuitive visualization of XML schemas
Inheritance hierarchy display
Effective structure representation (with parent types considered)
Jump-to-Code feature for quick edits (not yet available)
Important: Remote imports are currently not supported.
Getting Started
Open an .xsd
File: In VS Code, right-click on any .xsd
file and select Open With... . Then choose SchemaViz .
Register: When SchemaViz launches, you’ll be prompted to register using your GitHub account and email address .
GitHub registration ensures that only real users participate in the beta.
Email verification helps keep track of testers and allows direct updates about new versions and bug fixes.
Confirm Your Email: After verifying your email address, you can start using SchemaViz immediately.
Requirements
No additional requirements or dependencies are needed to use SchemaViz.
