Shopify Theme Section Snippets

This Visual Studio Code extension provides a collection of snippets for quickly creating Shopify theme section settings. It's designed to help Shopify theme developers speed up their workflow by providing easy-to-use snippets for common section settings configurations.

Features

This extension includes snippets for most of the Shopify theme section settings.

Each snippet is prefixed with section- followed by the type of setting, making it easy to find and insert the right snippet.

Usage

To use the snippets, open a .liquid file in Visual Studio Code, type the prefix for the snippet you want to use, and press Tab or Enter to insert the snippet.

For example, to insert a color picker setting, you would type:

section-color

And then press Tab or Enter. This will insert a template for a color picker setting that you can then customize to fit your theme's needs.

Installation

To install the extension, open Visual Studio Code, go to the Extensions view by clicking on the Extensions icon in the Activity Bar on the side of the window, or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+X (Cmd+Shift+X on macOS), and search for "Shopify Theme Section Snippets". Find the extension in the list and click the "Install" button.
